A FAMILY STORY
La Treille is us: Marine, Edouard and our little ray of sunshine, Romy.
We are passionate about antiques and craftsmanship, and in love with the South of France.
In spring 2018, we became the owners of our sunny house on the route de la Treille in Marseille. The little village of La Treille lies at the foot of the Garlaban hills, a place made famous by the writer Marcel Pagnol. We fell completely under the spell of this old 1920 house, with its original cement tiles and its sun-drenched veranda. It was raw and needed complete renovation. And so our house became our source of inspiration.
A WORD FROM THE DESIGNER
"After working for 10 years as a designer for major brands, the desire to create and to fly with my own wings became obvious when my daughter was born.
Ever since I was a child, I have felt the need to create, imagine and draw. During my 10 years as a designer, I learned a great deal about the textile industry and mass production. I also saw what goes on behind the scenes... A mindset and a way of working that did not suit me.
Far from the values that are dear to me and that I want for La Treille.
With my gentle, sunny brand, I want to offer my customers clothes of impeccable quality, with finishes and cuts designed to become wardrobe essentials. Clothes that last, timeless."
