La Treille En Rose: breast cancer prevention 🎀

In this particular month, this particular article is close to my heart.

La Treille wanted to highlight a cause: the prevention of breast cancer by organizing a evening in our beautiful southern house. A way for me to support this cause, to highlight other creators but also to meet you.

This October 8 from 6 p.m. you can join my sunny house for the evening " La Treille en Rose ". You will be able to meet there the house of the nurse, association which organizes a workshop of prevention and awareness; as well as other designers from the South: Seadolls, Holisun, Atelier Honorine, MK.

« La Treille en Rose "Is an evening by reservation (limited places), the proceeds of which from admission as well as 10% of each sale will be donated to the Ruban Rose association.

The € 10 entry will include a drink and a snack.

Better understand Pink October:

1 in 8 women are at risk of developing cancer, so prevention is a way of saving lives. Mobilizing women and those around them is important because, detected at an early stage, it can be cured in 9 out of 10 cases.

The initiative for this now global movement comes from MRS Evelyn H. Lauder, vice president of Lauder Companies, which co-created the Pink Ribbon in 1992. In 1993 she created the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in the United States.

The breast cancer prevention campaign aims to raise awareness of screening (self-examination, questioning your doctor, etc.), promoting and opening up dialogue and information.

Why the pink color for this famous ribbon?

To contrast with the disease, the color pink also represents the gentleness, the joy of the Woman and evokes good health.

In Marseille, there are many dates to be remembered to honor breast cancer screening, including the famous "la marseillaise des femmes" run on October 17. But also events in Marseille shopping centers.
